About Mitzuo
Analyst queues kill products. That is why we built Mitzuo.
After years of watching product managers wait a week for data that should take a minute, we incorporated in Budapest in 2024. The problem was not the data. It was the translation between a PM's question and the query that answers it.
A week wait costs more than time.
Product decisions begin with questions. How many users made it to onboarding step three? Which cohort retains best after 30 days? What changed since last month?
No Jira ticket, three-day queue, or Slack thread should stand between those questions and an answer. When it arrives, the decision has already been made by instinct. That hidden cost is the analytics queue.
Mitzuo creates and runs the query on your connected data source, then returns the answer with the complete SQL exposed. PMs get answers in minutes, while the data team gets its backlog back.
"We want PMs to have the confidence analysts feel when querying data themselves. Showing the SQL is not a detail. It is the point."
The team
István Mészáros
CEO and Co-Founder
Years spent building internal analytics tools at enterprise software companies, focused on connecting raw event data to the product decisions teams need to make. That connection became Mitzuo.
Bence Kovács
CTO and Co-Founder
Built distributed data systems, optimized queries, and spent years creating data pipelines and query engines at data-intensive startups. Focused on reliable NL-to-SQL generation that lets PMs trust results without checking each one.
Nóra Farkas
Head of Product
Spent years helping SaaS product teams adopt analytics and build data culture, with a focus on when a team decides it must understand its numbers. Owns the question: if a PM cannot find an answer in under a minute, what is blocking them?
Built in Budapest.
Mitzuo Kft. began in Budapest in 2024. We are bootstrapped and plan to remain so until the product proves itself. Our office is at Jozsef Attila utca 16, in the 5th district, a short walk from the Danube. Budapest's strong engineering culture places us near European product teams facing the same analyst shortage we are solving.
We deliberately remain small. With three people, every decision is made by those who use the product. When an early-access customer flags an unexpected query result, the query engine's author is usually the one who reads the report and fixes it.
If the analytics queue is holding up your product team, we want to hear from you.
